Avril Khambatta Thakur, President Himalayan Explores organized Republic Day Ride-2021 with the support of R’BEL, BRAVURA, Himalayan Souls, Dehradun and the Indo-Tibetan Border Police. Rituraj Chaturvedi, Bikramjeet and Subham Sanewal from R’BEL worked hard to make this event a success.
The event was flagged off at Dehradun in the hands of Mr. Ashok Negi, Dy. Inspector General, Northern Frontier and was flagged-in at ITBP water wing Shivpuri, Rishikesh in the hands of Dr. Vinod Laxminarayn Thakur, Commandant/Vet, SHQ /DDN.
The event was a grand success where in 150 Royal Enfield bikes with 175 riders and pillion riders participated. This is one of the largest gatherings of Royal Enfield bikes in an event in the state of Uttarakhand. The beauty of this ride was that three different riding groups of the city came under one umbrella and rode for the Indian Republic Day celebration.
Himalayan Explorers organised, lunch for all the participants at the water wing ITBP along the banks of the holy river ganga.
The event was supported by the Royal Enfield and Apollo Tyres. Lunch was organized by the Himalayan Explorers for all the 200 plus present at the Flag-in site. Certificates of participation were distributed to all the riders and pillion riders in the hands of Dr. Vinod Laxminarayn Thakur, Commandant/Vet, SHQ /DDN.
