Tiger Conservation ( Awareness through Bike Rally)

Avril Khambatta Thakur, President Himalayan Explorers organized the first Royal Enfield Bike Rally in the state of Chhattisgarh on 29th July-2016, to celebrate the INTERNATIONAL TIGER DAY and spread the awareness about the Tiger Conservation and its importance in the Ecology and Economy of the forest dweller through wild life tourism. 

Sharukh Cassad, Ashish Limbanna, from Nagpur and Lehendra Gedam and Amol Devgade from Sakoli and Bhandara respectively worked hard to make the event a great success. Royal Enfield Bhilai extended all the support through its dealership.  

The ride was flagged off from Bhilai to Barnawapara wild life sanctuary in the hands of Mrs. Avril Khambatta Thakur, President Himalayan Explorers. 40 young Royal Enfield riders participated with a vow of wild life conservation. The event was covered by both print and electronic media. The riders group is multiplying day by day under the leadership of Satyendra Sahu an active member of Himalayan Explorers, student of Journalism and social worker from Durg.
